Position Overview:

The Academic Operations Coordinator is a temporary position, responsible for providing administrative support for the teacher operations of both Open English and Open English Junior. This role interfaces across various teams within Academic Operations to support our teacher management processes but most importantly, this role communicates directly with teachers to process payment inquiries, and absence forms.  The candidate must be an excellent communicator and adept at toggling between many types of communication avenues in our virtual world. Additionally, the candidate must possess organizational ability, a high degree of accuracy, and will be empowered to be self-sufficient toward the goal of ensuring that our teachers are provided the right information in a timely manner while adhering to our academic policies and compliance procedures.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Processes incoming absence form submissions via the AO Communications Form. 
  • Processes incoming Support Team Forms and compensation exceptions.
  • Processes incoming payroll inquiries via the AO Communications Form, including PTE teacher payment method changes.
  • Process recurring availability changes for Academic Specialists.
  • Pulls metrics from various spreadsheets for OE Junior reporting.
  • Pulls metrics from various spreadsheets for OE reporting.
  • Provides administrative support within Academic Operations, as required.
  • Reviewing live class recordings and auditing classes.
  
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Google tools such as Gmail and google drive.
  • Knowledge of DropBox is a plus.
  • Able to independently manage work time.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • ​Skilled in Microsoft Excel.
