POSITION OVERVIEW:
Open English is looking for a Human Talent Director to join our regional operation for LatAm based in Bogota, Colombia. The HR regional director will be responsible for planning, designing, directing and controlling the strategic purposes and work plans throughout all human talent management processes that lead to improved levels of commitment, efficiency and productivity, aligned with the corporate strategy for the satisfaction of all company entities and external clients.
Also responsible for the fulfillment of the strategic direction and the organizational vision, being an agent of change that generates strategies that help the Company in the permanent dynamics that it requires today, going to the vanguard in business, processes and all different modern work methods, integrating processes to incorporate elements to the organization that guarantee better practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as a strategic consultant for internal clients and business leaders, guaranteeing the role of the human talent team as an internal strategist, in matters such as organizational development, engagement, talent strategies, recruitment, compensation and benefits, payroll, labor relations, quality of life and well-being, climate and organizational culture; as well as, safety and health at work in order to contribute to the achievement of the company's objectives.
  • Direct and control the planning and execution of Organizational Development processes to ensure efficiency in the transformation and change plans that allow advising Managers and other supervisory lines in their own processes of organizational change, in alignment with business and Human Talent strategies.
  • Plan, define, propose and implement strategies to establish the talent map and development actions (Coaching, special educational plans, leadership training and career development strategies) that allow the retention of Talent, sense of belonging and empowerment of the performance of the collaborators.
  • Prepare and implement the Annual HR Plan, through the definition, monitoring and evaluation of the objectives of the area; as well as, generation and presentation of monthly indicators.
  • Prepare and execute the performance evaluation processes (KPIs) and management of Compensation & Benefits plans, emotional salary, and other activities that generate a plus within the benchmark of the sector, that allow the organization to be more competitive and reduce the turnover and talent drain.
  • Design and implement the Annual Plan for Quality of Life, Welfare and SST, guaranteeing the adaptation of employees to the workplace and the company, promoting engagement and improving employee satisfaction rates.
  • Lead the management of the entire HR processes, complying with the corporate HR guidelines and the regulations and labor obligations of the LatAm operation.
  • Serve as a communication channel between the Company and its collaborators, in the analysis and solution of problems and conflicts, proposing timely solutions in the cases that arise.
  • Design the Company's positioning strategy as an employer / EVP - Employer Value Proposition brand, in attracting talent, candidate experience and digital strategy in social networks.
  • Elaboration, control and optimization of the department's annual budget.
 

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Professional studies in Business Administration or related HR areas, with relevant demonstrated expertise in related roles, in addition to having the profile and skills relevant to the position.
  • Over 8 years’ experience as a manager or director of human talent in telecommunications companies.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish).
