Inside Sales Agent (Spanish-Speaking)

Part-time or Full-time positions available, base rate commensurate with experience, eligible for commission plan, and paid training.

Hours of Operation:
4am-5pm EST

Position Overview:

Open Education is seeking fluent or native in Spanish and conversational in English, experienced in sales or call center sales to handle outbound sales calls (no cold-calls) for our new students in Spain. You will answer a wide range of inquiries about the Open English program, handle the processing of transactions, and solve a wide range of customer service issues. Experience in sales to the Spanish (Spain) market a plus.

What will you do?:
  • Support the operations team by answering calls from customers and dialing sales leads
  • Able to communicate product offerings in Spanish and close sales
  • Process transactions (domestic & international) via telephone
  • Meet or exceed department productivity standards and quality customer care standards
  • Records all customer contacts in the system
  • Reports product related feedback to management as instructed
  • Carry out customer inquiries and transfers in a timely and accurate manner following predefined guidelines when escalation is needed
What will help you succeed?:
  • Be comfortable working remotely from home
  • Work authorization in the U.S. is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish is required
  • Prior sales experience required
  • Prior call center experience with intangible products (telecommunications, advertising, plans, financial services, collections a plus)
  • Proficiency with PC & MS Office required
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize with guidance in a fast-paced, at times stressful, dynamic environment
  • Excellent attendance and strict adherence to daily schedules is required
